KJ and Dan try to reconnect. They disagree on how to handle it, with KJ advocating for a quick death, while Dan suggests making the mouse’s final moments as pleasant as possible. The pair compromise and move on, slowly coming back to each other in this idyllic setting. Unfortunately, their peace is shattered by a small woman who can be charitably described as “eccentric” – she’s the younger sister of their landlord, and she had no idea anyone was staying at the family cottage. No problem if it crashes, right?
